Are you interested in building a community site with BuddyBoss, but find yourself asking, “How much does a BuddyBoss site really cost?” Well, you’re in the right place.
I’ve been working with LearnDash & BuddyBoss since 2018, and I can tell you, there’s more to the BuddyBoss price than just what you see on the sticker.
There’s also several different ways you can build a BuddyBoss site, and each one comes with a different price tag.
Let’s take a look at all of BuddyBoss’ products, how much they cost, and what other costs you need to factor into your budget. We’ll look at a base cost, or what you’d need to get started with only a handful of members, as well as an “established site” cost, once you’ve built a solid, profitable membership.
If you’re new to LearnDash, you might have heard of “Focus Mode.” This article will explain LearnDash Focus Mode in detail, provide screenshots and videos for how to set it up, and discuss the many different ways you can customize it.
Are you looking to build an online course community with WordPress?
If so, there’s no better combination than LearnDash & BuddyBoss. Using these two products, you can create and sell online courses, create groups and discussions, and provide an entire social network for your students, all without leaving your website.
I’ve built dozens of LearnDash sites, and consulted with over 100 online course creators, and BuddyBoss is hands down the best tool for creating a community-based online learning platform. I’ll show you exactly what you get with this killer combination through screenshots, short videos, and tons of links to discover if LearnDash + BuddyBoss is the winning combination for your next project.
Ever since LearnDash was purchased by LiquidWeb/StellarWP in September of 2021, LearnDash pricing has become more complex. You used to just have a single price for the LearnDash plugin license per year. All official LearnDash add-ons were included for free, except for ProPanel, which was included on the second and third highest plans.
Now the LearnDash pricing page has many options, and it’s not immediately clear what you’re paying for. We’re here to make it easy:
How much does LearnDash cost?
What plans are available with LearnDash?
Which LearnDash add-ons are included in your license?
How is LearnDash Cloud different from the LearnDash plugin?
…and many more of your LearnDash pricing questions, answered.
Are you running a video-based online course? If so, LearnDash video hosting is one of the most important things you need to consider when setting up your online course platform.
Video lessons are a popular way to teach any online course. We encourage video-based learning as one of several different strategies to teach your course material. But there are a few very important things you need to know before launching your LearnDash site—including where to host your course videos. We’ve got you covered below.
CourseLauncher is a LearnDash hosting, development, & consulting company with over 10 years experience building LearnDash sites. Every so often, they welcome a handful of new clients into their LearnDash Ignition Program—where they take LearnDash course creators from concept to launch in just 90 days.
LearnDash Ignition Program Features
The LearnDash Ignition Program saves clients hundreds of hours of work and thousands of dollars in plugins & additional tools. As part of the program, CourseLauncher provides…
Basically, CourseLauncher is offering to build your LearnDash site for you (minus some content entry you’ll need to do yourself), give you access to a ton of premium plugins that you were going to buy anyway, show you how to use LearnDash, strategize with you, give you access to pre-built marketing automations to help market your course, and host & maintain your site for you (some ongoing costs do apply here).
Who is this for?
For anyone just getting started with LearnDash, or building a new LearnDash site, this is exactly what I’d recommend.
I’ve seen far too many folks hire an inexperienced developer who didn’t understand LearnDash, and over a year later, they are still trying to get their site launched. If and when they finally do, it doesn’t work the way they want it to, or they experience errors because it was built poorly.
If you already have a site running smoothly, this isn’t the program for you. But Ellen and her team at CourseLauncher do provide LearnDash services for established sites as well.

CourseLauncher lists the full value at just over $10,000.
Their normal price for the LearnDash Ignition Program is $5,000.
Sign up before March 31, 2023 and you can get in for just $2,500.
You’ll be put into the April 2023 cohort, and your site will be provisioned no later than April 10th.
If you’ve never built a website before, $2,500 might sound like a lot, but for a LearnDash site, it’s an incredible deal. You can find developers oversees and/or on Fiverr who will quote you some ridiculously low rate, but 95% of the time, you’ll end up with a terrible product, and have to pay even more to pick up the pieces.
If you’re serious about your LearnDash site, I encourage you to make this investment upfront. I don’t think you’ll regret it.
Here’s a full list of all the plugins included. You also get the full premium stack from Kadence, which includes the Kadence theme, Kadence blocks, and Kadence WooCommerce add-ons.

Are you missing the Add-Ons page under LearnDash LMS in your WordPress site? You’ve probably seen tutorials referencing it as an easy way to install LearnDash add-ons and official LearnDash plugins.
If your LearnDash LMS > Add-Ons page is now showing up, here are a few reasons why it might be missing, and some things you can try to get it back.
Do you use Cloudflare with LearnDash? If so, you might be wondering which Cloudflare settings to use so that your LearnDash site functions optimally.
Aggressive caching can cause issues with LearnDash sites, and Cloudflare uses caching as one method of improving performance. We’ve already discussed how to setup WP Rocket with LearnDash, but now let’s talk about the best Cloudflare settings for LearnDash.
Almost all LearnDash sites send emails to their users. There are also some emails that go out to site administrators. By default, these emails come from “WordPress” and use “wordpress@yoursite.com” as the FROM email address. Let’s change the FROM name & email to better reflect your business, and use an email address you actually have access to, and can respond from.
